Mission Work Local and International
Throughout each year First Baptist supports many local and international missions.
Local Missions -
Collecting food for the local food pantry.
Collecting school supplies for community .
Collecting winter hats, gloves and scarves for community at The Center
Collecting cleaning supplies, hygiene items, laundry supplies for the Blessing Box program.
Socktober - collecting socks for The Center to distribute to homeless and those in need.
Holiday baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Host the Free Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day with the other PUNCH churches.
Trunk or Treat and Easter Egg Hunt for the community
Global Missions -
We have 4 special mission offerings through American Baptist Missions - World Mission offering, Retired Ministers & Missionaries offering, America for Christ offering, and One Great Hour of Sharing.
Direct Missionary Support -
We have missionaries we support directly in Haiti, Thailand, Myanmar, and Phillippines.
FBC Sponsored International Missionaries

Nzunga and Kihomi Mabudiga are in Dominican Republic as of March 2, 2023.
Helping Haitian Refugees

Eric and Yuree Lembke will soon be taking their mission to Thailand/Burma helping with refugees from Burma.

Jae Stockton is our missionary in Baja Mexico teaching the lay leaders there how to teach the people about Jesus

Brian and Lynette Smith are in the Dominican Republic helping the refugees from Haiti get supplies and shelter but also new trades for work to support their families

American Baptist Women's Circle Missions

Focus: Book reviews
Chair: Nancy Boutelle
Both Circles are involved in local mission work and worldwide mission work. From sending Bibles to Kodiak, Alaska to rolling bandages to send to Haiti, Burma, and Thailand. Once a month the Women's Circles meet for fellowship and studies.
