WORSHIP SERVICE AT LUTHER MANOR On the 1st Thursday of each month we will meet at Luther Manor in Bettendorf for worship. The service will start at 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited! Also, we are putting together a 4th Thursday of the month service at the Jersey Ridge Place. Stay tuned for details on that one!
QUAD CITY GARDEN GROWERS - Recently, "The Garden Growers" visited First Baptist Church. We are exploring the possibilities to turn abandoned lots in our area into garden plots for the neighborhood. If you are interested in a small plot in a community garden, contact First Baptist Church at 563-323-2765.
FBC MEN'S SOFTBALL GAME: FBC vs. Quint City Baptist - May 9th If you're not already signed up to join our team....it's not too late! First game is May 9th at 5:30pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church/School softball field. GO FBC!
NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP - May 17th The PUNCH group will be coordinating a neighborhood trash collection event. We will have dumpsters from the city positioned at First Baptist Church to collect trash that the neighbors bring. Handbills will be distributed by volunteers the prior week. Notice will be given for this event.
BLOOD DRIVE AT FBC - May 31st 7:30am to 11am. The last date to donate elsewhere prior to this drive was April 5th. If interested in donating contact the church office at 563-323-2765 or feel free to show up during these times. Keep in mind...it could be your life you save one day!
QC AB MEN DISASTER RELIEF TEAM We will be offering men the chance to get involved with this locally based disaster team. During times of flooding, or other disasters, we will join with men from other churches to lend a hand. This will not be a traveling team, but it will remain within driving distance of our church. Call the church office for more details.
